How to Apply (and Remove) Your Patch

Removal (optional, from our personal experience):

For easier removal, we like to use a gentle adhesive remover (such as Uni-Solve). Apply it around the edges of the current patch and let it soak for a moment, then slowly peel the patch back.

After removal, we clean the area with alcohol and apply a thin layer of antibiotic ointment to help the skin recover.

Applying a New Patch

1. Prep the skin: Clean the application area with alcohol and let it dry completely.
   
2. Optional skin barrier tip (personal routine): We lightly apply a small amount of allergy cream or a quick spritz of Flonase to the area, then wait until fully dry before applying anything.
   
3. Apply your device/sensor: Place and secure your sensor/device first (as directed by the manufacturer).
   
4. Apply the patch:
   Remove the center backing tab from the patch.
   Center the patch over your device and press the exposed adhesive onto clean, dry skin.
   Peel away the remaining backing pieces and press firmly all the way around the patch.
   Gently peel off the clear protective top film.
   
5. Best adhesion tip: Allow the patch to set for 2–3 hours before heavy activity or getting it wet.

Helpful Tips

• Apply to a clean, completely dry area.
  
• Make sure skin is free from lotions, oils, sunscreen, and residue.
  
• Avoid applying over irritated or damaged skin, including cuts, rashes, bruises, scrapes, or sunburn.
  
• Remove slowly—pull the patch low and parallel to the skin rather than straight up.
